Wayne Anderson's Home Page

Wayne Anderson is the president of the Associated Colleges of the South, working very closely with member presidents, academic vice presidents and other administrators and faculty groups on a regular basis. He oversees the more than forty programs in which ACS is actively involved, encompassing teaching enhancement, technology training, research and information exchange, library collaboration, cost containment, international programs and many other joint activities.

Dr. Anderson is a former college and university president who also has held positions at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, Johns Hopkins University, the Association of Governing Boards and the Alabama Independent Colleges. He has taught courses in political science throughout his career, and, as an adjunct professor, teaches a seminar in American Presidential Campaigns at Emory University.

Among his special interests are politics, Japan, classical music and golf (not necessarily in that order.)
