The three day workshop focussed on:

A. Discussion of future consortial collaborations (e.g. visiting/travelling artists programs; webcasting performances; creating shared materials archives; inter-institutional team-teaching)

B. Overview and learning various music-teaching technologies:
   1. web design for class websites and student projects
   2. music notation
   3. animation construction
   4. digital video recording of performances
   5. technical aspects of creating streaming video and audio

The workshop will include demonstrations of software, lab time for the creation of individual projects, and breakout session for the discussion of implementation problems. We will also devote considerable time to discussing and planning collaborative initiatives, some of which might be technology-facilitated. Participants will arrive Thursday afternoon and depart Sunday morning. The target audience is primarily music faculty but could also include IT support staff from member institutions.
