ACS Teaching with Technology Fellowships

Thanks to the generosity of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, The Associated Colleges of the South made available a number of Teaching with Technology Fellowships for qualified faculty and staff members at ACS institutions and NITLE Southern Region institutions. These fellowships provided a $2500 stipend for the development of teaching materials or other curricular enhancements in which technology played a key role and which had potential application for other ACS institutions.

On January 1, 2006 the ACS Technology Center became a part of the National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education (NITLE). The Southern office of NITLE will be at Southwestern University.

NITLE will continue to solicit and fund proposals for regional projects and events as part of its "Instructional Innovation" initiative. For more information on upcoming NITLE programs and events see the NITLE calendar at http://www.nitle.org/index.php/nitle/opportunities/programs/upcoming_events.
