William Crummett (crummett@centre.edu), Centre Physics Dept., plans to develop a computer interface for experiments commonly conducted in Introductory Physics courses, whereby students can collect data directly onto a computer from traditional physics equipment such as inertial balances, airtracks and pendulums.

Jones Distinguished Professor of Business Administration at Trinity University, is developing free Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) learning and research modules on the web. Andy Newcomb (anewcomb@richmond.edu), Richmond Psychology Dept., will be developing an undergraduate technology fellows program to serve as a model partnership between university information services and academic departments.

Shusuke Yagi (Shusuke.Yagi@furman.edu), Furman Japanese professor, will develop a computerized program designed to make Japanese reading practices interactive and efficient With a simple click of the mouse, students will be able to hear the pronunciation of the words as well as entire sentences.
