October 8, 1998

This project was to develop examples of audio interactive materials which would serve as a basis for an audio component for the existing computerized French grammar review, the NlightN project, developped here and now available on the Web. The full proposal may be reached at http://www.colleges.org/tech/1998/knudson.html.

The following has been accomplished:

What an exciting project this has been! I recall a recent conversation with some of my collegues at which time I said that this particular step in the NlightN project generated an excitement much like we experienced during our very first steps when we began to realize the immense potential of computerized language instruction. My sincerest thanks go to the ACS-Mellon Technology Fellows Program.
