Mission Statement

Mission : To strengthen the effectiveness of teacher preparation programs at ACS member institutions.

Purpose: To bring together leaders of ACS teacher education programs to:

• identify common interests and concerns and means of addressing them.
• explore cooperative ventures with colleagues both within and outside ACS.
• stimulate research opportunities in the curriculum, for both students and faculty.
• provide opportunities for faculty and department chairs from ACS Teacher Education programs to serve as resources for each other.
