2.   ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS AVAILABLE

End of spring semester is the final deadline for Alliance minigrants.  Curriculum and Faculty Development Alliance has already awarded all of its funds, but the Student Development and Engagement Alliance and the Campus-Community Partnership Alliance continue to seek your proposals for environmental projects including service learning and other community partnerships, environmental justice activities, student teaching assistants, and internal or external internships.  RFPs are online at http://www.colleges.org/enviro/index.html.  To see previous years' successful proposals, please to to http://www.colleges.org/enviro/proposals/past_proposals.html.  For more information, contact Elizabeth MacNabb, emacnabb@colleges.org, Kathleen Green Rossman, krossmann@bsc.edu or Laura Hobgood-Oster, hoboster@southwestern.edu.

For those pre-proposals that are approved, final proposals will be due on January 15, 2009. We encourage you to read the various materials and consider preparing a proposal for consideration. We are accepting proposals for individual and collaborative projects at one institution or across several ACS institutions. Visit the website at http://www.colleges.org/faculty_renewal/index.html to view the guidelines and selection criteria and to download the required cover page.
