ACS
The ACS office is occasionally able to support faculty and staff for specific projects related to international programs depending on availability of funding. If you have a specific project in mind, you should contact our office to discuss the possibilities.

Council on International Educational Exchange
The Council on International Educational Exchange offers a variety of faculty seminars around the world. Limited funding is sometimes available.

DAAD Scholarship Programs for Study and Research in Germany
DAAD grants are available to faculty and students in Canada and the United States to participate in a wide variety of academic activites. In general, applicants need to be US or Canadian citizens or permanent residents. In certain cases foreign nationals enrolled or employed at universities in North America may also be eligible to apply

Fulbright Program
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government's flagship program in international educational exchange. The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) assists in the administration of the Fulbright Scholar Program for faculty and professionals.

In addition to the traditional Fulbright Scholar long-term programs, the Fulbright Senior Specialists Program provides short-term academic opportunities (two to six weeks) for U.S. faculty and professionals. Also available are International Education Administrators seminars designed to introduce participants to the society, culture and higher education systems in Germany, Japan and Korea.

Institute of International Education
The Institute of International Education offers programs and scholarships for faculty, scholars and students.

International Professor Exchange
This website, hosted by the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, allows faculty and nonacademic staff to research and arrange for short or long term job exchanges between universities around the world.

Rotary International Grants for University Teachers
This program provides funding to faculty willing to share their expertise with students in developing nations.

Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars
Established as an international center for scholars, the Center offers fellowships and other support to high-level professors, public officials, journalists, professionals and other leaders, giving them special opportunities for research and writing.
