Funded Proposals

 

First Round of Funded Proposals (Spring 2008)

In the first round of its new Faculty Renewal Grant Program, the consortium has made 24 grants, totaling over $100,000. Funding for this program has been provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and is made available in three categories: personal growth, leadership development and professional development. Funding for personal development could include proposals that prepare faculty for retirement and for making retirement a particularly productive experience. Funding is also available to prepare faculty for new leadership and decision-making roles on the campus. Grants for professional development are designed to assist faculty to become even more effective teachers.
