Environmental Studies Faculty Workshop
SUMMER WORKSHOP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND

"ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES CURRICULUMS"

A workshop "Environmental Studies Curriculums" will be held at the University of Richmond on June 23-24, 1998. It will bring together members of ACS to discuss different models of environmental studies curriculums. Representatives of the employment sector and graduate programs will join discussions to help ACS institutions assess, and where appropriate, modify curriculums to best serve their students. The workshop is being developed by a committee at the University of Richmond in consultation with the Associated Colleges of the South through the Environmental Program and Second Nature, a nonprofit environmental group located in Boston, MA. The committee is interdisciplinary and consists of faculty from Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Law and Leadership.
