Two off-campus drama/theatre opportunities now are available to ACS students:

  1. The Chicago Arts Program (CAP) is operated by the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. Studies may be taken either in the fall or the spring terms. The Chicago program is open to any ACS student who meets the admissions requirements, has approval from his/her institution, and is accepted into the program. The portability of financial aid is a decision made by the student's home institution. Complete program details and contact information are found online at http://www.acm.edu/cap.

  2. An international opportunity for ACS theatre/drama students and faculty is Academia Dell' Arte in Arrezo, Italy, which is located in beautiful Tuscany. The initial focus of this program is on the theatre arts. Credit for all course work is issued through the University of Memphis. Emory University Theatre Department is a partner with Academia Dell' Arte, to ensure that "the program maintains the highest standards of study abroad excellence." ADA will work with a student's institution to assure transfer of earned academic credits at the end of each term.

This program is open to ACS student who meet the admission requirements and accepted into the program. Detailed information about the program, faculty, credit transfer, and application process are found at http://www.dell-arte.org. Information also may be requested via e-mail: info@dell-arte.org.
